What is worth writing about
A date looks wrong
This is the most useful message the site receives. If a frost date here contradicts a long local record — your own notebook, a nearby station, a national service — say which page, which figure, and what your own record shows. The gridded source resolves a district rather than a garden. Differences deserve checking against the local record and the methods used.
My town is missing
11,509 places are computed so far, and the list grows by population. If somewhere is missing, send the name, the country and ideally the coordinates. Very small settlements may never get their own page — a nearby computed town may be useful, but differences in elevation, coast and terrain still matter.
A crop is missing, or its timing is off
Crop timings are stated the way a seed packet states them: weeks before or after the last frost, plus days to maturity. If a crop you grow is not listed, or its window is wrong for the way it is actually grown in your region, say so and cite what you are going by.

Reuse, licensing and press
The derived frost data is already free to reuse with attribution — see the terms of use — so you do not need permission for a blog post, a newsletter, a school project or an app. Get in touch anyway if you need a bulk extract, a format the site does not publish, or a quote for something you are writing.
Privacy requests
You do not need an account to use the site. Hosting logs, analytics, advertising services and emails you send can contain personal information. See the privacy policy for details, or write to the same address with a privacy question or request.
What this address cannot do
It cannot tell you whether it will frost at your house on Tuesday. Every number on this site is a statistic drawn from past decades, not a forecast; for the week ahead you want your national weather service. It also cannot diagnose a sick plant from a description — there are better places for that, and guessing would not help you.
